Small Dent Removal
Hello
I have2 small (smaller then a half-dollar coin) dents. One in my door and one onmy right front fender. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have seen a product called DentOut that seems to be more stable then the "As soon on TV" products. Has anyone used this before? Does anyone have any idea on how to get these small dents out?
Thanks

i dont think that product actually works...most as seen on tv products dont...
there should be a guy in every town that can pull dents...most body shops(go into your local one and ask) will know someone that can do it, i wouldn't trust anybody but a professional to do it...
that as seen on tv thing could make it worse...they're very delicate to do

I had a paintless dent removal job done on one of my cars. The guy came right to our house. He set up green and white flourescent lights(he said that shows the surface reflection at all angles),heated up the area around the dent with a heat gun,and worked the dent out with various rods and small hammers. It took about 45 minutes start to finish and cost $100.I was real happy with the results. The dent was about the size of a quarter.Like moderator Wiz said, most towns have one of these outfits. The guy did tell me he does work for all the car dealers in our area.
actually Whiz it dose work if your talking the one you glue to the car then pull it off. I fixed soem dents in mine after the tree hit it inIvan. it takes more then one poull to work but it dose do the job for SMALL DINGS not the whoel fender caved in
but honestly if you can get behine them push them out with your thumb or the pulm of your hand and they will come out that way to. That is all a body shop will do it they can get behind them or not.
other wise a stud gun that you can buy threw eastwood will do teh trick but it requiers you to take the paint off so it can work and then you would have to repaint the area

I have to agree with Laser. I had a dent in my hood about the size of a quarter and took it to Dent Busters (paintless dent repair) and for $20 you can't tell anything was ever wrong! These places are great. The Chevy dealership quoted $390 and they would have had to repaint and clearcoat the entire hood - no good!
like i said i know it worked for me, BUT if you can get it done for 20.00 it is the same price as to order somethign tha tis a gambel So with that siad i would take it in to have it done.
Alsot depends on the location of the dent adn how thin or thick the panel is to get it to work for ya.
Good luck
