First off, I'm a new member to this site but I been coming here for several "How To's" on my Monte. But I need help on this one. I purchased a SLP grille for my 02 Monte Carlo SS. And I see all these post on what they look like but I dont see any posts on how to actually put it on. So can someone please explain how to put on the grille? Pictures will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

 

Using dental floss and a cloth wrapped screw driver remove the knight's crest.



Clean up the area.

Put emblem adhesive on the SLP grille, line up, and stick!

 

you have to remove the knights crest, use some floss, double it up and use a saw like movement behind it, there are 2 posts on the back of the crest so use the floss on the top and bottom until you hit each of the posts and then pull and it will come off

then you will probably want to paint or put some vinyl behind where the slp grille will go, your best bet may be to plasti-dip it, this way it's removable incase you ever decide to sell it

then to mount the grille you just use double sided tape and you're done!
