I think the SLP Grille is one of the BEST mods you can do... cosmetically. It REALLY sets your Monte apart from all the rest. I may have "rattle" canned mine... but I did sand, paint and clear it, it looks fine. Having it professionly done can run about 100 dollars depending on where and who you go too.... I had a friend have a grille painted and the paint cost a TON, the professionaly painting cost even MORE... he figured he would get by like a song being the grille was only 12 dollars, he sure made up for it!!

on a silver monte i would do the outter lip of the grill silver and keep the inside part black...to do this you would have to paint the current grill area that would show through black as well so it looks right...here is a picture of what my car is going to look like by the end of the year.

Except I'll have black housing headlights

The 12 dollar grille was for a Toyota Corolla... not a Monte. Think it was picked up on eBay. It was an Altezz or however you spell it...

I put vinyl behind the the grille, so it's all black and you cant see the color through the grille... I HIGHLY recommend doing this.

The silve looks REALLY nice done up with a body colored lip, good luck with that project!!!
