That being said I agree with the others body colored trim, black in the middle. I'm partial to the bowtie myself but I've seen all kinds of stuff, go with what you like.

Painting the engine cover is a pretty easy and can make a big impact on the looks under the hood.

Is that a decal on the engine cover or did you paint that yourself?

Nothing is wrong with it. I sold my Monte and took it off before I sold it. It was only on the car about 3 months. My car was black, so I never painted the grille.
