Talking Slp grill?

So ive been thinking as my car is in storage over the winter I have decided i am going to relocate my license plate and put the license plate filler back in the front bumper. I have been think of putting an slp grill on....if so what all should i paint red? im thinking the outer edge red and leaving the inside black.....and along with that what should i use for an emblem. a chevy or ss emblem in the middle? Thanks please share your opinions on what other visual mods i should think about doing inside and out. Thanks!

What he said is probably a good color combo. Although when you paint the outer lip to color match the grill might look a little more like a "stick-on" (which it is) then if you leave it black. Just my opinion.

Don't paint it all red - that looks bad. Off. And don't forget to paint the area which will be under the grill with flat black first

If you don't want to paint under it, get some black vinyl for the section. This way if the grille comes off, or you don't want it anymore, you can just peel off the vinyl underneath and not just have a random black section.

I think the red surround with the black grille will look good

You can get a show-n-go license plate bracket for the front

I agree pain the edge red to match your car and paint the mesh part black to show off the meshing effect. I would put a Chevy Bow Tie on the grille as there are already many other SS emblems and only 1 other Bow Tie.

I have the SLP grille off of my SS that I will sell you for $20 if you wanted to drive to Cedar Rapids to get it. I'm not too interested in shipping it.

Whats wrong with it? why are you getting rid of it? did you ever use it? did you paint it? How long was it on the car?

Let me know about those questions. Thanks

There's nothing wrong with a stock looking engine compartment...
