Eventually I'm going to get 2, So it looks like Antennas/Ears on a Transformers head. I'm thinking of having them Color Coated to match my Monte then doing a little creative striping to match my overall concept!

Nice! Haha I think it would look good. And something I can do aside from the roof rails. Probably color code It too.

Just find a way to seal it well, mine holds water and then I wash the car, dry the car, go for a drive and water comes out and goes down my back window.

It's so infuriating lol

I like where they put it on my Stang. It was black plastic but I bought a cover for it.

I don't like the one on my roof ..If I remove it there will be a hole where it's bolted on..

I don't thunk I have ever noticed that particular placement. That's interesting. Nice pony btw!

If I had a second one to experiment with I would modify it to take a short ham radio antenna. The 'fin' already it loose and can pop off easily. Put a BNC or SO239 on the base and attach a portable antenna.

The radios it is attached to are not used anyway..

I bought a shark fin for my Cruze and have yet to install it. It was a group buy that I came across on one of the Cruze Forums; I think this particular supplier ran a lot of 17 or so.

It's a little bit larger of a shark fin, since it has to cover up the factory antenna base, but then again it's not the foot-tall mast that the factory antenna is. I've put it in place to get an idea of appearance and visually it looks a little on the large side for the smaller car the Cruze is. That being said, I'm still not sure if I want to install it.

I'm glad I don't have the factory shark fin. Since I store my Monte during the winter outside under a cover, the wind moving the cover would probably wear a hole where the shark fin rests....

I think the idea of adding a shark fin that serves no purpose is right up there with the fake car phone/cell phone antennas that people used to stick on their cars.

To each their own.
