More paint!

1st coat primer

Ready for paint

3 coats of paint

I also got 3 coats of clear on it right before dark, but it was too dim to take a picture. More tomorrow

It was really cool to spray the metallic paint. I've never sprayed metallic before. It's cool to see the little flakes coming out of the spray can. Overall I'm pretty pleased with the result. Hopefully it lasts though.

Thanks guys!

Here is another update. I started to cut and buff it today. I always seem to do things the hard way and am doing it by hand I don't have a buffer so it's the best I can do! It takes forever but I'm getting good results.

Here you can see the difference between buffed/not buffed.

A shot of the buffing completed

Still got a ways to go but should finish in the next few days

I got it all buffed out and I gotta say it looks pretty darn good for a rattle job.

Gotta question though: How long till I can wax it? I've read anywhere from a few weeks to 6 months.

Awesome results! Didn't know cutting and buffing could be done so well by hand!

I'd say a few weeks before waxing. 6 months seems like a long time? I waxed my plate filler within days of painting but that's a lot smaller lol...

Actually, I know exactly what the full RKsport kit looks like, and I'm pretty certain you have Razzi side skirts and rear valance. Only your front valance is RKsport.
