Did some searching and read up on the backspacing.

Its the pad on the rim that will meet the hub. So id use a flat edge and lay it on the tire, and measure from that pad on the rim to the flat edge and that will give me my backspace.

So whats a good area to safe zone for backspace for 20s.

offset and bacpacing

They are two different measurements of the same thing. The distance from the surface of the wheel that mounts on the hub to the inner edge of the barrel of the wheel. An 8" wide wheel that has a 4" backspacing has 0 offset - the wheel mounting point is exactly in the middle of the wheel. And the offset is usually measured in mm and backspacing in inches.

bacpacing for our cars is around 5.5 inches.
+32 on an 8.5 inch rim i believe

Diameter does not matter its the width of the wheel. we can go up to 22s id offset is right without alot of mods.

So if i picked up a rim that was 20x8.5 with a 5.5-6" back space and say 35-40mm Offset ill be safe to fit them.

I think they would its only an extra 1/3 on an inch. have your wheel guy test fit them without rubber just incase. ANY wheel website or dealer will tell you if it will fit or not.

I was checking out these rims, it says itll fit, but the pattern is 5x114 35mm Offset.

For $1272 shipped with tires, balanced and mounted is a nice deal

My 06 has 20s stock and it's looks clean...I still gotta upload pics. No rubbing or rough rides. I got sport rims though.
