Cool Replacing the top grill on an 06 MC

Ive been thinking about replacing the top grill of my Monte LT with that of an SS grill. Does anyone know what all is involved with doing this? Can the old grill just come out and the new one popped in without having to take off the entire front end? I have looked at the way the grill is connected at the top, but Im unsure about the rest of the setup.

Like I said, Im just thinking about doing this; depending on how much trouble it is.

i dont believe you have to take off the whole bumper just to replace the grill. i think there are only a few screws to remove to take off the grill to insert a new one. there are plenty of grills to replace the current one than just the ss! good luck and let us know what your going with and post some pics

well when i took off the top grill of my 06 ls there was just a few clips you have to take out. i juust used a key to get leverage from under them and overall it wasnt too hard to do.
