Removing Paint from lenses

I'd say take fine sandpaper and sand the Niteshade off or down to where it's basically about to show the clear lens. Then use rubbing compound to go further and buff out the rest of the Niteshade and fine sandpaper scratches. The only thing that might be difficult is getting the Niteshade out of the letters/numbers at the bottom of the lens face. If you don't want to go through all that I'm sure you could get a spare pair from someone here. Then sell your tinted pair because most likely someone wants to go to tinted lenses.
