removing decals?

Default removing decals?

i have a few decals i wanna take off and replace. what is easiest way to get off the glue /stickiness left behind? i used the blowdryer/ heat gun method to rmove them and it worked great but getting the glue stuff off was a pain. need help. thanks

ive used gas alot, but be sure to wash it right after you use it & not to do it in the sun, if u do it that way ull have to wax ur car again, thats what ive used in the past

Lighter Fluid, Turtle wax spray, and a hairdryer. Use the hair dryer to take them off, use the lighter fluid to remove the residue and spray on the wax ti make it look pretty.

i found something actually really good, its a product that NORTON makes called stripe off, its a rubber wheel that attatches to your drill

the part # is 05624
any parts store should be able to get it for you, some of the ones that get into body supplies might have it, and it works perfect

I use goo-be-gone / Goof-off plus some elbow grease with a nice waxing after.

yeah those wheels work good but im not sure what they do to the paint, ive seen a few times scratches put into paint from them

the norton one shouldn't, we've got a body shop up here that buys a few a week, and we've never heard him say that..and we've sold a few to guys doing little jobs and we used one on our own truck and it was great

3m adhesive remove, spray it and let it soak a few mins, spray it again and go to town on it.
