I'm guessing that's a message you sent to Greg (zippy) but it got posted here for some reason. Regardless thanks again for taking a minute to upload all them pictures.

Impressive pics! That is great to see progress!!! I find it interesting the entire floor was removed. It will be something to see how this beast looks once it's all completed!

Looks great Sam! I'm still hoping to meet you one day and see your silver one that's already finished. Gotta bring that one to one of our Michigan events. Also, are you aware of the '50 Years of the Monte Carlo' celebration that's happening at this year's Chevrolet Nationals in Carlisle, PA? June 26-27. That'd be a good one to attend as well.

Regarding the photos mistakenly posted to the thread 'Big things are happening for Chevrolet brand with the 2015 model year' - can an admin relocate that post(s) here please?

Matt - thanks for the accolade - it is appreciated. No, I was not aware of the meet in June. A little to far for me to drive and I don't have a means to haul my car out there. And yes, one of these days we have to meet. I would really look forward to that. I keep all the emails I get on the various meets - but it seems I just can't get my act together and work out a schedule that works so I can go. Believe me I try. Don't give up on me - it will happen I am sure sooner or later. Glad you liked the pictures on my new build - that one has me really excited. To be honest - my first Monte I tend to baby it and not punish it so much (punish I guess that is all relative depending who you talk too) . But this next one is going to be a no holds barred car - not to say I will abuse it - but my intent is to make sure I use all of the power when I can - hopefully spend a little time at the track. Thanks for checking in with me. SAM

Okay guys, another update. S1sequintial shifter with remote mount on order from Australia. - about a 2-3 weeks delivery depending on U. S. customs. Appointment made for mid-end February for cage, floor, firewall, trunk & gas tank, tubs, tunnel. - Not sure about inner fender wheel wells - that's still up in the air. - that's a 6 week undertaking minimum.
Currently being fitted for electric assist on manual steering - then fitted for headers. - More to come as I go - thanks.

Have been looking for some slicks - 14.0 - 29/30's x 17 (or something close) can't find any - does anyone know of a manufacturer or outlet that may have these. Summit, Jegs, & M&H NO luck, Coker, Phoenix, Hoosier and several others big names - no one I know.
This is a slick not a drag radial I am looking for. Need 2

Default More pictures for SSV2

Guys not even sure I am in the right thread - I am having so much difficulty downloading pictures - its pathetic.
Anyway - what you see now - is my sequential shifter that came from Australia, and the electric power steering install and the mock up of the left bank header underway.
Just hoping this gets posted so all can see - Sam

Default Complete Header mock up right and left sides

There are 2 configurations per side - 2 options - a decision on which to use has not been made - it all depends on firewall clearance which hasn't been quite determined yet - but this will give you a basic idea what the headers will look like and how they will be routed.

A quick update - week 02-24-2020 - next stop - 'to the shop in California' to put the interior floor, trunk floor, tubs, front and rear firewalls, 12 point cage - front fender wells probably be put in at a later date to avoid fitting issues (maybe) - inside fender skirts will probably be made once everything that goes into the engine is fitted first which will be made in Utah once the car is back (maybe - this issue still up in the air)

More pictures to follow shortly before car goes to California
