They are 3 different hoods the Black one I actually took back in 2001 over in Iowa it has the Red dealer plate on it.

so what do you all think should I keep the cold air intake that I have or get one that will fit the ram air hood?

What options do the Hood folks give you? Some times they have a bunch of good information.


This is just a shot in the dark but put that same question in a google search and see if some one has done this before. They might not have used a Monte Carlo but another vehicle that may have similar results.

I went with the CAI after having the K&N knowing I was going to be putting the ram air hood on. Just uploaded the pics to my garage.

If I get rid of the K&N cold air intake then I will get this one.

MotorSports Performance Cold Air Induction System: 3800 Performance

Where did you get those guages at and which ones are they?
