quick hood question

Default quick hood question
Im replacing my hood and were about 2hrs away so i wanted to know before he brings it ro me, is the 87LS hood the same as my 86SS hood?

How about a slow answer I'm not a auto body man, but your 87 is the same generation as a 86 S.S. & should bolt right in `if
GM did not change the mounts..., but I don't know why they would ?

I do hope that one of our expert bodyshop member's reads your post within the 2 hours that you are expecting to install, but it is Saturday morning & I don't know how many hits your thread with get in that time...

Check back `OK & good luck...Oh, take pictures if U can & post....

all the 83 to 88 hoods are the same.

Ok next question, will a scoop on the hood be ok id its just a daily driving car?
