Default question on spoiler

I have been looking into buying a pace car spoiler for my 01 Monte Carlo ss..i currently have a stock surf board spoiler. I went to the Chevy dealer knowing the price would be outrageously high but i wanted to check and see..as i thought the price was ridiculous 900 some dollars. I just checked on ebay and im seeing prices as low as 35 dollars for a pace car spoiler. All of the spoilers being sold seem to be the same. It is described as an oem abs blow mold virgin plastic it says its a certified factory replacement spoiler. My question is am i getting a good quality spoiler? why is the dealer charging me 900 for this when i can get it for 35 dollars on ebay? i am guessing the spoiler is cheaper because it is plastic which is fine as long as it stays on the car when i drive and as long as it doesnt break or look crudy after a few years. Anyone who can point me in the right direction or help would be greatly apprectiated. thanks

Try looking for an 06-07 Spoiler, they bolt right up to the current holes in your trunk without new drilling.

There's millions of posts about this topic, just remember that you are buying a spoiler, then you have to drill new holes, seal old holes, sand prep and paint the new spoiler, and possibly re-paint your trunk because of the surfboard marks.
