Does anybody know how much it would cost to paint a trunk lid?

If I bought a different color trunk lid with the Nascar spoiler (I have the surfboard spoiler) and wanted to paint it black to match my car.

 

figure a good $500

 

alright...well I guess that's out of the question then.

I'll just have to live with my surfboard for now. :p

 

You should be able to get a matching spoiler from an 06 or 7 and would fit your predrilled holes on yours. Am I correct other Mcf'rs? have to be cheaper than buying and having the other painted.

 

Yeah, if I could find a black 7th gen spoiler, that would be awesome, but I might have the same problem under where my surfboard spoiler was that Chibi had here...

Yep, exactly. I just bought a lid w/ a Nascar spoiler and he wants 450 to paint it. He's going to take the spoiler off it and paint it separately, and then re-attach it. But yes, 500 is about right for the whole thing.

 

Yeah it's damn hard finding a 7th Gen spoiler.
