Well Now im Going to be doing some more painting then i thought. I belive im going to be painting most the dash driver side that wraps into the center consel. then also the top half of center consel silver. bottem half will stay black to match carpet some parts on door panels also.

Would anyone no the paint code for 2005 MC SS Silver? Its the light silver. I cant seem to find it anywere.

mabby i found it could some one confirm this ( WA7840 Silver Met Exterior )

 

check the trunk on the underside of the lid

 

check your local area for a paint jobber or give your local chevy dealer a call and i think ask for parts and give them the VIN

 

The WA7840 sounds correct for the silver. I would check the tag on the underside of the deck lid to be sure. It should say BC/CC U####. Make sure it says U7840. You will need to give the paint supplier the WA7840 tho because for some reason you cant use the U#### to input into the computer to mix the paint.

i'm actually at the bodyshop now in the process of painting the dash piece thats right above the glove box to give it a sleek finish wrap around look.will post pics when done of course

but . i'll be checking in and out here between coats and the dry time if you have any questions

 

I still love how that looks. Im going to try to paint alot this summer.
