Default weekend project: Painted Dash and console

took some time to build up the sealer past the texturing so i could wetsand it to make it smooth, but overall im pleased with the outcome. the silver with all those curves makes it really pop i think.

That looks really good. The silver really flows well with the interior.

One question. Did you put an adhesion promoter on the plastic pieces?

yup, i used adhesion promoter first, 3 coats of wet-on-wet sealer with flex agent then wet sanded after it was heatlamped. a little hardener in the base so chips wouldn't appear so easily and finially 3 coats of accelerated High Solid clearcoat with flex agent..

Nice work.

Your dash now looks like a newer Monte dash.

It resembles the dash in my '06 a lot.
