Default Painted my tail lights!

Wit the left over supplies from my failed hood project (IT WILL GET DONE) i decided to spice up my baby a little. Here's some before and afters.

Stock

Oh I know, one of these days its all gonna come together into a beautiful piece of art. Until then I don't mind having it look like something out of mad max or death race lol.

No, actually the reason i painted them is some hoodlums decided to smash the clear cover on the right side about a year ago, and rather then spend money on new lights i figured id make em match and look some what decent.

Nice look for the lights. Great way to improvise from that vandalism incident. I think they'd look better with the clear lenses, but obviously, not an option.

That's pretty ingenious what you did to the tail lights. How did you get the clear plastic lens off?

The one that was still intact popped right off after i removed 2 screws from the back, the one that was already broken was hellto get off. Its all plastic welded together, i think mine was just weak. If it doesnt pop off with a little force id bake it. Would'nt wanna risk breaking it.

The rear (and/or fromt) black out is very reminiscent of early SS paint styles, nice job.
