Pace Car Spoiler

I have the factory ss spoiler and im thinking about changing it to the pace car spoiler....i wanted to know how hard it was to install???and is there anything else i need to know???

the factory holes for the SS spoiler to the pace car spoiler are different. unless you want water pouring into the trunk, you will want to take it to a body shop and get the holes filled. other than that, if you are comfortable with drilling your own holes in the trunk then go for it. but remember if you screw up......you screw up. just make sure you have some primer to put on the holes after you drill.

the pace car spoiler from the 06 07 models will bolt up using the holes from the surfboard spoiler they made the spoilers have the same holes

Also you might have scratches from where the stock one was so you might want to have that painted, that is one more reason why i have not done this yet and also i just dont have the money, so i am open to donations.

you can find them on ebay pretty cheap sometimes...i've seen them on there quiete a few times

You can also find the race inspired spoilers on web sites like gmpartdirect.com but they're like $300 or more.

Somebody do me a favor...if you have the tall pace car spoiler, please take a picture of the underside of your trunk lid, showing the bolt locations, and maybe measure thier locations...That would be great..THANKS

Its sad that there are cuch a crappy selection of spoilers we are limited to...the Intimidator one just doesnt cut it for me...
