i wanna change my 03s surfboard style spoiler to the pacecar spoiler.... i noticed that there could be a chance that the holes from the surfboard style might show through when i change the spoiler? Will this happen or is there something to cover that?

 

yes they will show threw on it.

But you cna do a few things.
One get the spoiler you want and take it to a body shop and have them fill and repaint ht etrunk lid and redrill the holes where ya want them

this is wha ta lot of pepole have done .

Also ther eis a Spoiler that stands up like the NAscar spoiler and it will fit the same bolt pattren as our spoiler dose and you can do it in your drive way on a sunny day.
if youdo a serch on here for this subject i have answerd it before. i ahve a frend that did this to his car and he knows witch one it is. tonight when i tried to call him to find out for you . he is not home or answering his phone. SO hopefully you can find it on here other wise if he calls me back i will ask him wich one it is agian and post it for ya.

want to say it was the high sport. edition but i cant say for sure.
I knwo you can get them on Ebay rather cheap as a unpainted version . also i ahve foudn them painted .
thing is painted woudl eb a bolt on /off deal. other wise you ahve to take it in to a body shop anyway.

look on Ebay for one of the following he said it is a direct bolt on

look for
Intimidaotor 3
or the SLP spoilers

 

thanks... i will look into your advice....it sucks how the spoilers justcant haveuniversal holes on the trunk so pplwontneed to go thru all this lol.. btw how can i post pictures of my Monte up here?

 

i think it was bluessess that did it but dosnt the 06 07 spoiler fit and fill up the holes at the same time

 

yea i believe it does but ... i believe that a 06 spoiler would look horrible on my 03 lol

 

i know someone did it but i never did see how it looked.
i also know they ahve changed the tail lights out to the new style but they left a gap aroudn them some place also. so who knows.
