Wow Amy Great results!
I'm guessing keeping your fingernails intact is an impossibility!

Im surprised at the results after sanding and buffing... The paint looks like nothing was ever there. Good Job!

Are you going to do the same design again?

Heres an Idea:

Two crossed Checkered Flags
with "Monte Carlo" in a banner.

Just a thought/Idea

I didn't use a heat gun cause I didn't want to ruin the paint or my hands LOL. I used my hair dryer and nails to get the vinyl off and for adhesive removal I used Crystaltek Vinyl off - and it was a huge time saver. The same design is going back on the car. I have an appointment for next Friday to get the new graphics put on.

Any plans to freshen up the side graphics? I'm just wondering if the new hood graphics will appear crisper in comparison.

Wow Amy...what a big job. That must have been a pain in the butt. I'm sure it will look great when it's all done.

it's nice your taking the time to freshen up your Monte's hood graphics. Going to be a whole new feel when you take her out to car shows etc. Lots of effort for sure removing the graphics. Are you aware of the plastic razor blades made for vinyl removal, might have saved you a sore hand. can't wait to see your Monte when the new graphics are applied. Nice job!!

ya it is kinda weird not seeing the graphics there. The side graphics were done a couple of years later and they are still in good shape.

Thanks Zippy for the link - never knew such a thing existed.

OK yesterday I had the graphics installed by Roadrage Designs in Spring Grove, IL and they did a great job. The graphics are slightly different than the old as where they fall on the hood but I really like the results.
