i do my best to never get the car over 3000 rpm ... all day ... and all it takes is one on-ramp blast to well over 80+ and that whole days worth of careful driving and people tailgating me like im some old man ... and pbbbsssttttttt - instant fuel economy of ... ding ding ding ... 3 miles to the gallon ...

when or if you could afford to make it up here ... the detail and helpful tips are waiting for you ... ill do my best to get a picture of my car when shes actually clean ... if thats anymore enticement for you ... that all these pictures are 3-5 days off a wash

 

thanks ted, because your 06 is what inspired me to start messing with the badges ... still havent decided if im going to get rid of the "monte carlo" on the back ... but the "gm" square ones behind the front wheels are gone the next time im cleaning ...

man i wish i lived somewhere that didnt require front plates ... cops here will even write you if you relocate it from stock ... unless its a vette or better you better have the front plate on ...

when my old man had his 2002 camaro ss 35th anniv ... he got rolled once for no front plate ... when he had his 96 corvette ... never once got bothered

and to keep it technically on the topic of the thread ... hers a picture of the nite shades in the daylight ... ive since been followed by a few cops after doing something stupid in traffic and none have decided the taillights are obvious enough to warrant probable cause or to decide to screw with me ...

Hey DrJesus - where in IL do you live that cops give you so much crud? I'm in Lake County and it seems like the cops don't care around here if have a front plate or not. But, I've never been pulled over so I don't know if they'd slap me with another fine for not having the plate.
