dude, tell your parents you need the duals and let them know it will only be half as loud as one. then maybe they will help out with some cash for the duals

is it really half as loud as one?

will one be too loud do you think? like definately noticeable from inside a house?

does anyone know which is better, the super 40 or just standard 40?

lol well...i am 18, it is my car (not in my name yet, my dads waiting for the value to go down so i dont have to pay as much) the only thing that worries me is possibly getting a ticket.

a ticket for defective exhaust wont make insurance go up will it?

i dont mind paying the ticket lol

defective exhaust, wtf is that. do you live in a community that has alot of people minding everyones business but their own? I've never heard of a ticket for defective exhuast! if it passes emissions, (actually I remeber you said there is no emissions where you live). I'm totally lost on all this, or is it the parents who are giving you a hard time? just wondering dude. also what is this value thing your dad is worried about? you have a 2000? how much is it worth, nothing meant by that either but it is not a brand new car or nothing like that.... but I understand the parents rule the house so if it is the parents, then they have pretty much the last say, goodluck with everything Mitch....

i dont belive it does. cuz theres no points involved. but the ticket is $136.00 i no i had to of then when i chopped the mufflers off and had two 3' tips welded on. Now that want bad, it sounded like a v8. Now i got flowmaster 50s on and when i get pulled over and a cop askes i tell em a professional shop install em. they usually dont argue with me

wasnt trying to prove your statement wrong from earlier jonny haha just checkin with some other people...

so if you tell them it was professionally installed they wont really do anything? i dont get the difference lol

and chris you pretty much hit it on the head, people dont care about themselves here, only others, and cops can be ******, most are cool tho.
my dad said since the car is worth around 6 grand, and i still owe him right around 1500 that he will just wait until im done paying it off because then i wont owe the dmv as much for the title. also i wasnt 18 at the time i got it

cool man, hang in there! do what you have to! if I know how you are, you'll have one of those psycho bikes young guys run around here with the loudest freaking exhaust available when you get older. take it easy Mitch, later
