let me help ya. I had flowmaster 40's on my 01 LS. One, I did love them because they werent loud. they can give a good holler at WOT, but anything less makes it sound great. you shouldnt have any problems with the fuzz.


honestly, at idle it sounds like a small boat engine. its that churning water noise speed... that gurgle. hard to explain.

 

vita that means it was a nice throaty noise then?

did you have any other exhuast mods?

it had a very nice throat noise, but it wasnt loud. It worked out really well because I never wanted to be pulled over for one more thing. Its quiet up to about 3000 RPMs, then it starts its yelling.



I honestly cant remember, I just know I went to the shop and asked for flowmasters 40's to be put on... ended up sounding great and only cost me 300 total for install and parts for the dual. nothing else was done for exhaust. I wanted to drop the tone down some, and picked up a Wizair CAI that did the trick about 2 months later.

 

nice, i think ill just head in then next week and get one put on, not enough money for dual yet lol, think my parents will hear it at start up from inside the house? lol
