Great idea for a seamless front bumper.

What's the story on the Volt?

Here's one more update. Project a "New Front End" is getting somewhat close to being finished.
Here's some pics to peak at.

Here's pics from the mixed paint by me - to the finished product/other parts to be painted and installed:

In the garage wiped down from the road mist:

Yeah I am planning on painting the outer trim on the TS Grille red and leaving the rest black. The lower grille will be painted black also. And yes I will be painting the section of the bumper black to hide the opening area. I didn't have to do that with the upper SLP grille because I painted the whole grille red plus the openings were smaller on the SLP so it wasn't as easy to see.

I was however disappointed is how filmsy the SLP lower grille felt in my hands. I was expecting to feel something with some substance/rigidity to it. But it looks and fits great though. I am happy with the direction.

Trewyn15 we both seem to have similar ideas as to what direction we wanna take our cars in but it nice to see some settle differences in our cars. Which btw car looks great keep doing what you doing man!

I thought the same when I got it for my Monte but when you paint it and put it on it looks great and makes the lower grill look thicker the only thing I was going going to do but haven't yet was but a metal wire mesh behind it

What state are you in? Do you guys not require front tags?
I have my filler on, and put the tags on the dash.
Knock on wood, so far so good. Always look forwards to member thinking outside the box with new projects, bring new ideas to the community, good for you man.

Thank you I appreciate it. I saw a guy at the mall in a Impala and he was staring at my bumper the other day. So i figured he was confused or he liked it or maybe both.
Michigan no front tags required
