Quick question, I have a 2007 Monte Carlo LS. I just changed my low beam bulb probably a month ago on my drivers side and this is the second time i had to change it within 6 months. I never changed my passenger side. I have to hit my headlight to cut it on and sometimes it doesn't work. So far i had my car for almost a year. what could be the problem and would it cost a lot to get it fixed or can i do it myself?

 

If you can hit your light and it comes on, then I think you may have a bad connector, corroded, burned or loose connection. Are you using HIDs? If so do you have to whole kit or just the lights? The lights by themselves draw too much current, creates too much heat, and melts the connector. I would start atthe connector then work my way back from there! Good Luck!

Thanks. My boyfriend said the same thing. Hes going to change the connector and see if that is the problem. and i actually had to look up HIDs (please don't judge me lol) but no, just regular lights.
