Default Light covers/paint

Since the beginning of my monte I have wanted it blacked out, Paint is done. Now I just need the rims, headlights, and tail lights. With some of my other cars I have just bought the pop on or bolt on plastic smoke or black covers for the lights. Ive been looking for the monte and theres not much of a selection. I see a lot of ppl here have em and was wondering where you got em at? Im used to paying maybe 40-50 for a pair but the ones I did find for the monte ranged from 50-70 EACH. Anyone find a better deal, or should I just paint em using that headlight paint?

Check the laws in your area first, you dont want to paint them if you will get pulled over for it. Alot of people use the VHT Nite Shades. Thats probably what Ill end up doing sometime in the future. You can pretty much choose how dark/light you want them tinted with the Nite shades.

VHT is very easy to use. I say do covers on the headlights though.

Yea I was wonderin if some thinner and black would work just as well, and the can of nite shade I was noticing its pretty small. How many cans would I need for the tail lights If I want em real dark?

And for the laws...ehh..i get pulled over for worse. Plus this is texas, I can shoot someone on site for simply putting graffitti on my property

We used to do that at wyotech. It turns out pretty nice. One kid even put some silver metallic in the black base coat he mixed into the clear. It was absolutely awesome, especially on a silver vehicle like he had. Plus the clear coat is gonna make it last alot longer than the nite shades would.
