All depends who see's i suppose. I could easily end up with tickets for tint and exhaust. So the less attention the better. I think the hide away plate thing will be your best bet.

in nj you have to have your license plate on display at all times on your front bumper which leaves me with no place to mount the new SS plate. Currently its bolted right under my nj plate but i would like to be able to display both of them without stacking them on top of each other to give it a more cleaner look[/QUOTE]

My bad I thought you got new plates with SS on them..

i have 5% tint on my rear 3 windows so you wouldn't be able to see it. I saw that on the Hidetheplate.com site that their biggest one is a 9" extension. I did a quick half *** measurement from a bolt i found behind the bumper cover that holds the underneath valance to the bumper bar and its exactly 9" from there to the front of the bumper which is cutting it close to not leaving any gap/play room from the bumper. I dont really want to mount it to the underside of the bumper because i don't want to run the risk of it flying off on the highway or ripping it off pulling in/out of a parking spot and messing up the bumper all together.

I think tomorrow after my fishing adventure im going to take a look and see what home depot has in the way of T & L brackets and see if i cant piece something together and make it work. thank you guys for the tips and advice!

Maybe you could take the Plate attach it to the frame you like and attach magnets to the back side and to the front side of the State Plate then put in on for shows. Or you could also get an SS emblem and apply it to the Car on the front or Rear.
Other wise move to a state that is more friendly with the Plates like Kansas or Oklahoma, I was in NJ last year for several months and one thing I always enjoyed was he WAWA stations!! Good luck!

you must of been in south jersey.. here in north jersey (the better half) we have quick checks. just as good if not better in my opinion. but the wawa's are starting to migrate and expand up north here, one just opened about a half mile down the road from me
