Default left light dim right lights fine

I just installed hids into my car and now my low beams on my left side are very dim and my drl come on at the same time as the lows. I noticed this when my hid went out. It's not getting enough voltage to light it up so when I start my car it'll flicker for a second and goes out. So I installed my halogen bulbs and same problem. Blown fuse? I was reading that my female connector the bulb plugs into may be fried?

hid's will fry your puny stock wiring. get the harness that uses your battery to power the hid's and connects to stock bulb connectors to signal it to turn on

You can use a multimeter or test light to check your connector. Unplug the connector from the bulb, insert the probes of the multimeter/test light into the connector and turn the lights on. You should see approx. 12v on your meter or the test light should illuminate. If you register -12v on the meter the probes are reversed, but the circuit is still functional and the connector/wiring is okay. If you don't get a reading do a second test by back probing (insert the probes into the connector where the wires go into the back of it) and check for a reading/illumination. If you get a reading/illumination replace the connector. If you still don't get a reading you'll need to continue tracing the circuit until you find the open. Oh yeah, check your fuses (located in the upper underhood fuse panel) prior to doing any testing.

Also. Bought the ddm tuning kit with the ballasts so it shouldn't fry the wiring should it? Only did it to my one side.

The EXT LTS fuse protects the low and high beam circuit for the right (passenger side) headlight. If it is blown, replace it. The DRL/EXIT LTS fuse (directly above the EXT LTS fuse) protects the low and high beam circuit for the left (driver side) headlight.
