My 86 Monte Carlo had a vinyl top on it it peeled up last winter so i tore it the rest of the way off.... i like the top on the car it set it off but everyone else said i shouldnt put a new one on because without it the body lines of the car are really visable but i dont really know what i should do any opinions and please dont say do what you feel is better give me your real thoughts on what you think of vinyl tops........

 

Keep it unless you plan to have a wild 2 tone paint scheme.

Call me old fashioned - I like to keep vintage cars true to original appearance, but improved below the surface.

Keep it as original as possible. If it came with it from the factory, put it back on.

Years from now people will comment on it - it will stand out that you took the time to save the 80s look

 

The only thing is that the color of the car is gonna be jet black what color should i get the vinyl top done in?????????? The theme of the car is completely black exterior and red and black interior..........
