i hate the hood pin that's my honest opinion

 

the hood pins look different, i think thats why everyone is no liking them. its almost like a one of a kind monte. you did a pretty good match up for color wise. good job man

Partially both- they look really high up, not down at the front like most cars with pins. My other thing is I'm not crazy about old school pins on a modern car- for modern cars, if you absolutely had to use pins- I like those aerolatches (I think that's what they're called) because they're flush when closed, and still go with the smooth lines of a modern car.

I kind of like the hood pins, and I understand the use of them on the fiberglass hoods.

 

well, if you guys think theyre that bad, maybe they are?? now im thinking i might just have to get rid of em?? im sure i can find someway to fix up the holes. What would i do about putting on a latch. Man, i thought they looked good? i know you guys say its about what i like, but that goes only so far you know? If you have somthing that everyone doesnt like then it kinda gets you thinking you know? if i cant get the safty latch on< is the regulat latch okay to use be itself?? Damn damn damn!!...damn! you think if i find some kind of plug to go almost fluch with the top of the hood, that would look good?? Damn i messed up huh??

 

You did not mess up, most hood pins are usually around the outer front edge of the hood! see what you can do to get something different, but it will be a bi!ch! hang in there, you're doing ok, keep up the good work!

 

LOL damn you downers! well just talked to a friend. Hes willing to trade me hoods straight up... sooooo... im gonna do it. i guess but before i do, im gonna give it an overnight thinking first.
