Yep yep, just finished it last night (painting) going to take pics right now. Give me a few min. Ill be right back. Nothing special, just lightweight.

 

Man, check out how good that color match is. Used regualr duplicolor, and used about a full can of "truck van SUV" clearcoat (the big can). But yeah, its really sunny right now so ill take another pic later when the sun dies down. Im just kinda exited to get the pic up you know?? Pretty good job huh? Im kicking myself now cause i didnt even think of getting a hood with a cowl. Oh well it only ran me 200, maybe ill get the cowl here pretty soon and try to sell this one. (MAYBE) Oh, if youre wondering where the hell the pins are, i got them going through the bars. (I thought it would look better than at the very front of the hood.

Little bit, i gotta sit low enough to where i cant see the hood. But thats okay me and my wife decided were getting a paint job a litttle later in the year. We jsut dont wanna blow all that money now, were wanting to save up for a while so its not such a big chunk missing out of the bank. But come to think of it LOL, its gonna be even more blinding with a brand new paint job.

 

Why did you get a new hood? Did you get in a wreck or something?

Also, why do you have hood pins- what happened to the hood latch? Honestly, I don't like how the pins look at all.

 

It looks like you did a nice job painting it. The only thing is I think the hood pins sit too much in the middle of the hood. Oh well though, you can't change it now

yeah, hit a deer a while back and had to change the fender. didnt know the hood wouldnt fit right after i got the fender. And with the hood latch, whatever the hood is made out of, i guess he couldnt put the latch on the right way. But you guys dont like my hood pins? or you just dont like where they are. I really like them

 

they do look like theyre sittin kinda high in that pic. im gonna get another pic tonight from the front, let me know what you guys think after you see it from the front view.
Man i get compliments on the pins all the time. i thought they looked really good. LOL looks like its off to my closet to cry myself to sleep (again).
