Interior Quarter Panel Trim
I havea 2003 Monte LS with 40k miles on it and am thinking about selling it.
Before I do I am going to fix a dent caused by someones door.
The dent is on the drivers side on the quarter panel, just behind the door. Its small but can easily be seen.
In order for me to fixthe dentI need to get behind it,that is where I run into trouble. All the screws are hidden and I cant figure out how to get the interior panel off that covers the quarter panel.
Any help?
Thanks

RE: Interior Quarter Panel Trim
I would try to pull it out with a dent suction before you do all that work. quicker and easier. your local auto parts store should have it.
a 2003 with only 40K on it?!?! wow. barely broke in lol!

Im pretty good at working out dents from the backside and I have all of the tools. I really dont know anything about sucking dents out.
Yeah I got the car with 14k on it back in 2003 and I just hardly ever drive it.

i'm goin to my shop today and ill post som pics on how you remove it and what tools you'll need to do it.. i could prolly guess on hows its done basd on the hundreds of other cars i've taken apart but that visual aids always help more... stay tuned friend
may i ask on how big these dents are. suction cups will only work if the metal isnt creased badly.. if they are simply door dings i might suggest bringing it to a PDR shop or Paintless Dent Repair. basically these peope drill a small access hole in your door jamb(which is later covered by a cosmetic plug) so they can get their special picks in beind the dent and slowly pry it out without breaking the paint. its a service we sometimes use at the shop if we dont get paint blending time... check it out

I would appreciate it Nuffy, been wanting to get this done for awhile now.
They are fairly deep dents, some fool probably pushed the door open with his foot and slammed it into my car. Either that or the wind caught it.
They are close together so I dont think suction would work.
