I'm Repainting My Monte Carlo (Pics Included
Just a bit of advice remove the door handles, trunk lock & door lower window molding & mirrors aswell as un hook the bumpers & let the sides hang down ull get a nicer finish & wont have peeling issues later on
I just learned some new urban slang, "huevos."
I don't think I'm taking out the door handles or anything, Mike. I can't get a paint job but so perfect outside anyway, but I do appreciate the advise. I did make sure to put my sand paper on the edge of a screw driver and sand in all the crevices though.

Ahh if ur doin it outside than deff hit the first coat with some fine sand paper in some spots that collect dirt so when u wetsand & buff u wont get spots from the dirt being knocked off & exposing the primer color & i would prime it once more with a dark primer sence your color is a VS7 paint so it requires a dark base color before paint, didnt know if ukn that or not ao figured id add that in & dont forget the flex agent for the paint sence u have plastic bumpers
its looking great making me wish i could do mine now
But agreed progess is speedy, hope it goes well.
I have that paint stuff that MIke is talking about... clear special primer you spray on those parts about 15 minutes before you paint.
