I'm getting an Estimate for the damage on the monte

He was driving and doing 45-55 in a snow drift. We made fun of him in his original thread for driving like that to begin with :P
Second, he got the body kit after the fact, didn't you? So that on the repairs you could put it on, instead of the new bumpers?
Thus, when he was getting his estimates and the professional said the body kit was made poorly, because the body man is going to have to put this bumper on.

Yes i did get the body kit after the meeting the ditch, no kit come perfect and ready to paint (at least i think not)
So my main objective is to get the damage fixed, then if he wont put the kit on i will for a school project not high school
College - Auto Body Collison Repaing and Refinishing

fiberglass kits look and fit like crap imho .. they come raw and need lots of hours of fiberglass/bondo work to make them half descent straight (which 80% of people do not do!!!)... lotsa priming and blocking then fitting/re-fitting. and even then they never seem to go with the cars.
the body man im sure, doesn't want to spend 4 hours of his time and your money trying to make a picasso out of a lump of cow sh*t
Urathane kits are much much better, plus they dont spider-web crack with the slightest rock hit. they are bendable and match factory fit and finish much much better. they cost alot more but the quality is 100 times better than fiberglass.
you'll be fixing and repainting fiberglass kits for the rest of your cars life.
just my opinion from working in bodyshops for the last 13 years
