Question How to take apart the headlight assembly on a 2000?

Hey, has anyone taken apart the headlight assembly of a 2000-05 monte? I need to get it apart to put in the angel eyes im experimenting with. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Good luck is all I can say. A lot of people have tried and failed.

You basically need to heat them up in an oven and try to crack the seal.

I opened mine to do a retro fit. You have to use a dremal and cut them open. Once you get them open you'll have to clean off the old glue before you reseal them.

Honestly I never got around to finishing them but I was planned on using some Butly Rubber glue from the retrofit source its about $10-15 bucks for a roll.

Are you just going to add halos to high beam or are you going to add projectors?
