Im working on customizing my car [red and black] getting black wheels, blacked out lights, but how do i go about getting the chevy symbol black too?

If you don't like it, just peel it off I did my emblems in the beginning of the month.

I did mine when they were off to re-locate. you can spray them on the car.

 

I'm doing the black and red thing as well with my Impala; planning on trying these out.

 

i remember my lumina bowties were blue and i chaged them to black via plastidip

 

hey this might sound dumb but can i pull the emblems off and repaint them? i pulled emblems off my lumina right before that scraped it and it didnt look like i would be able to put them back on

 

I'd be concerned about the vinyl overlays peeling, but it's an easy way to try.

I found some of the "solid" Chevy emblems can come apart (learned that looking at a late model truck in the junk yard, the painted surface is on the inside, in theory you could remove the painted material and re-paint the inside and epoxy it together). But that was looking at the emblem on the front of a truck (might be different on other cars).

Hey i noticed u mentioned magnaflo mufflers. How did you go about that? And about how much do they run?

 

got them from summit racing via ebay. I can get you exact #'s when I look into it if you want? Total price for mufflers and tips $335 and $130 for install at my local Meineke......
