Im going to buy a cowl and some vents and make my own one off hood but need to find the vents have the hood need cowl but thats an easy find and need vents but cant find them anywhere

 

Goto Pick n Pull or Speedway & look around im sure ull find a car with some good vents on it

 

Prob not. Only cars that come stock with them are high dollar and they prob wont let me cut up a srt 10 viper hood just for the vents lol

 

TGP's, GTPs, Lumina Z24, there's many cars at the yard that come stock with them

 

Yup plus ricer civics with aftermarket hoods lol

 

gtp, lumina, and gp don't have vents they have louvers. Vents and louvers are completely different looking but do the same thing. Louvers are punched out iether in or out.

I can find louvers I can even find places to punch them directly into my hood for 2.50 a louver but haveing trouble finding vents. vis makes a few but they are small. not like the ones on their hoods.

 

i wanted big vents on each side of my hood and couldnt find anything so i got the gp louver/vents and were going to mold them in but decided not to becasue i didnt like the look. good luck man and if you find the vents and you dont mind give me a heads up on where you got them and price.

 

Will do. My dad is a welder so I will see if he can just make me a set.

 

visracing makes a few that fiberglass in. they are not very big and there is a limited selection. I think I will go with H3. they are 150 I think they are 10 inches long.
