Default hood help

No new update on the my baby yet, she still sitting because its to cold to work on it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of a metal camaro hood scoop?

I don't know of any. Fiberglass all day long on ebay.

if youre talking about the tear drop shaped one they were fiberglass on the camaros too.

This is the look im going 4. I would really hate to go fiberglass on metal.

the original z28 scoop fiberglass bolted on to metal. they werent blended, and i assume the ls1 ss cars were full fiberglass. if you got one from an late 70s z28 and painted it the hood color i bet you could get away with it being bolted on. that is if it fits.

Gothkid guarantee that hood you posted has fiberglass on metal.

it is, he said it cracked after 2year. Thats y i was hopeing there was a different way. Like a metal on metal.

It also has a lot to do with what kinds of materials and how it was done. Not to say that guy did a bad job my anymeans. But a friend of mine has done a few hoods like that. Grand Prix with a hood scoop on it and its going on three and he has no cracks what so ever. But the first year I know he took it off in the winter and the year after he started to leave it on year around. To me for that type of work if your doing it yourself and your bonding two different materials and you get a couple/few years out of it...my opinion its not that bad.
