I went to NAPA and got emblem adhesive 1st I just used a scewdriver and popped 1 end and the just pulled the old ones out and then cleaned both surfaces (car, new roof rail) with rubbing alcohol until super clean and then a thin layer of emblem adhesive on the car and a thin layer on the rail 1 at a time and started at the front and worked my way to the back and then just used pressure and green painters tape to hold it down so I could start on the other side after I was done I backed the car out of the garage and let it sit all taped down in the sun for 1hr the put her back in the garage and let the car cool down for a while and pulled the tape off
I hope this helps you
