Default Help with my hood.

I have a 2003 monte carlo ss and in the front left corner right where there hood meets the body theres is a basketball sized dent in my hood from some idiot jumping on it. I was wondering what would be the best way to get the dent out of my hood. Or where is a good place to buy a new hood for my car. thanks

i dont think a "basket ball" dent would be fixable. have that idiot and a-hole pay for it! check on ebay or a salvage yard. i would start with a salvage yard first, it should be cheaper. (no shipping, knowing what u r getting, going to be painted anywho)

if i knew who did it this would be fixed already. But of course i have no idea who did this to my car. Im not trying to spend the 500 on a ram air hood. So it would probably be impossible for anyone to remove the dent from the car then?

The reason I showed the Ram Air, was because you said where could I buy a new hood from... and why wouldn't you upgrade a little WHILE buying a new hood? As for the dent...

show us a picture of the damage. Right now, basketball sized dent, sounds really big and likely has done enough damage that after it's fixed the paint is screwed up and the paint will need to be fixed also.

Therefore you will be looking at the repair / paint fees. And if you decide to go through your insurance company for it, see how much they will pay, and then see how much the shop will charge you for the Ram Air hood, and see if you can pay the difference.
