Default Help - Bolt size for 5th gen cowl hood

I know this is a long shot...

Flying out to IN over this weekend to get all of our stuff, including the monte- I took the hood off, and it is possible that I may not be able to find the bolts (can't remember where I left them, and its been almost a year since I've been out there).

Just curious if anybody happened to have a 5th gen with the 3" fiberglass cowl hood that could check the bolt size for me.

Not sure about the cowl hood, but I believe the stock hood bolts are 8mm with a 13mm head.

do a little searchin'

1995-1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Spyder 3 Hood Duraflex | eBay

95-99 Chevrolet Monte_Carlo Fiberglass Hoods from Extreme Dimensions at Andy's Auto Sport

The rest will have to be custom, not much for 5th gen aftermarket

bumpin,

I used the stock bolts I'm fairly sure, but I can check when I get home tonight if you need.

Whoever is looking for the aftermarket cowl, I got mine from carhoods.com

I'm not sure that Bumpin still needs the info considering the age of the thread.
