Default Headlight Leakage/ Visibility problem

So I just kind of noticed a couple days ago how my HID bulbs don't shine out to far like their suppose to on either of my headlights I have 8000k HID kit. Also, my Driver side headlight seems to be leaking from somewhere and it's really making me mad. I've sealed the damn thing up twice already. Any suggestions as to where it might be leaking from?

I'm also thinking about changing from my 8000k blue/purple bulbs to 5000k Crystal White.

if they are leaking, why not just get some headlights from a junk yard or through ebay. i think 6000 is the crystal white bulbs, it all depends on how you want them to look!

Ive already sealed up one of mine twice since i got it as well, the seals just dont hold after they get too old, my advice is just get 2 new housings so you can have them match.

yeah, 6000k should be crystal white. 5000k are not quite as white/blue. I dont know if you will be able to seal up the light without being able to disassemble it (which is pretty much impossible with the factory housings)

This topic reminded me to ask.... I have condinsation build up in my drivers side headlight. How do I get rid of it, until I can replace it? If I can get rid of it, how do I keep it from happening again?

Well, Red, what I do was disconnect everything from the the headlight housing itself, and then left it in the sun for a good hour which dries up the wetness inside it. And you can't stop it lol.

Well Sonin66, if you find a 2000-2004 Monte Carlo in a junkyard, around Lockport,IL. LET ME KNOW. I doubt anyone in the world has a monte carlo in a junkyard thats 2000-2004. haha I've looked everywhere. I'll probably just order another set off ebay for the price of one

Email morad parts company to see if they have a headlight assembly for you. -- sales@moradpartscompany.com they're an EXCELLENT place to do business with. they deal in GM FWD cars exclusively (well i think they have some G8 stuff right now, too)

I've gotten lots of parts from them over the past few years for my GTP and my regal
