Cool Getting a Nose Job.....

I have decided to have the Bumper Cover and Lip (front ground effect) repainted. It has several rock chips and road wear on them. The Lip is especially pitted up..like I just raced at Talledaga or something.
I will take my MC to the Body Shop Monday around noon. Should have it back by Friday.
And F.Y.I. Be careful with that Front Lip for those of you who own a MC with the same High Sport Package. It will cost you $684.00 roughly to have it replaced.

That's why both of my Montes wear bras LOL!!!! They really protect the front end against rock chips. After my accident a year and a half ago with the 05 (I got hit in a parking lot) I got a new front bumper and hood and the front lip repainted basically for free minus my aggravation of not having my car for 3 weeks, I invested in front end covers for both of my Montes so I could avoid anymore front end damage. from rock chips.

Default nose job

..I do in fact, have a front nose cover but I only use it whenever I'm taking a long road trip with it or driving to a waaay out of town car show.
These rock chips and pitting were from the first owner. I will also ask for some touch-up paint for in the future and there are a couple of very small (pin head size) chips on the hood and driver side door.

I use my front end masks as much as possible - kinda hard with the 05 being the DD because I can't use the mask when it rains (not waterproof). But my 03 ALWAYS has it on when I'm driving - it never sees rain so that isn't an issue. When I bought my 05 used 2 years ago, it was riddled with rock chips - just like the type you described. Luckily I had that incident in the parking lot and got all that damage fixed for free.

I have so many of those road battle scars, but what can you expect from a daily driver?

Hope the work is satisfying for you. The car will look great with a fresh nose!!!

My hood is in bad condition from paint chips and the what not from the previous owner. Thankfully you only notice it from close up and if you are looking but it still bugs me.

Could i get a look at your guys' covers on the car?

I have always hated bras and the like on cars. Dont think they look good. I understand the concept but it ruins the look of the car. It may protect it while you own it but whats the beauty of not being able to enjoy the beauty of the cars lines and looks covered up.
