Default General prices for Repainting/Reupholstering?

I'm specifically looking for a Black Monte Carlo 02-05 SS/LT and I want a Black Leather interior.. Unfortunately it's been really hard for me to find one at a good price without a ton of miles. I can find some that are other colors or different interiors, so I'm wondering if someone can fill me in on some info as far as prices go?

2005 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO 12578B Flint,MI Grand Blanc,MI Used Cars Trucks Chevrolet Lapeer, Clarkston, Cadillac Buick GMC MichiganPreowned, pre owned usedcars

This is the one I'm thinking about picking up.. It's pretty close to me, but I really really don't like the tan leather interior. I'd want to get it painted black and get black leather inside.. Hopefully someone can give me some good (inexpensive) news.

In all reality it is gonna cost you a lot more to change the whole car over. I'd keep looking and widen your search a little. Even with traveling cost included I bet you will still spend less. here's one in Swartz Creek 2004 Monte Carlo SS

Well, that is quite a bit.. I guess I'll have to pass on getting it painted.

That one has more miles than I'm looking for, but thanks.. I usually search within 75 miles. I'm not too crazy about traveling 200 miles for one, (especially to Ohio ) I'll probably just have to continue being patient.

You have to remember, these things are DRIVERS. Most people buy them to drive them a lot. I wouldn't be too concerned with some of the mileage.

If you broaden your search to look for the intimidator models, you can find probably lower miles for people that don't drive them as much.

Yeah patience is the key for sure and I don't blame you nobody wants to go to Ohio for anything Keep in mind that the 3800 is a strong running motor and there are plenty of them still running great with well over 200,000 miles

Yeah, I found one that I like that has 98,000 on it.. I guess when you consider how long the 3800 lasts, a little over 100,000 isn't a ton.

I did find a 2005 LT with around 78,000 miles.. but the dealership won't budge on the price of $9,800, which is a little bit out of my range.

Dammit. Why can I never find tan leather seats like those? I have a black and tan interior w/ tan cloth seats, but I want leather.

I'm the same way as you, I hate high mileage cars, I was lucky enough to find my '00 w/ only 53,3xx miles in September of last year, but the 3800s run forever if you keep up with them. Mike (chibi) would know, he's almost got 200k on his '00
