Like mentioned it had to be a factory option on your Monte. Otherwise you will have to run your own wires and fog light switch. Wonder if the previous owner was attempting to install some he got elsewhere.

Perhaps when you pull the bumper off you may very well discover the wiring tucked up and out of the way. Do you have the factory installed FOg light switch, it's on the dash to the left of the steering wheel about midway down.

In 2000-05 factory installed fog lights, there should be a square button to the right of the panel light dial (to the left of the steering wheel).

The '00-'05 factory module will look like this. Fog button is to the right of the headlight ****.

In 2006-07 factory installed fogs the button location is, again, to the left of the steering wheel at the light dial. If equipped with factory fog lights, the center of the light dial is the fog light button; push in to turn on/off. The fog light logo will be right in the center of the button in addition to other light function logos around the button's perimeter.

For 2006-07, LS and LT do not come with factory installed fog lights, only SS.
