You can put whatever you want on there. The original badge has to prongs sticking off it, if you cut those off and made the badge back flat you could put 3m tape on it and use that instead. Some people use the SS on there because it fits in the square for the bowtie.

I really like the outside painted to match. May paint the inside of mine silver not sure yet. My dad has a cappuccino frost met. monte but doesn't think it will look good painted to match on the outside so he's leaving his slp all black (he's crazy I know, if only he'd figure out how to join the forum)
