It didn't look like $1,800 of damage to me either. Yea she held up pretty good I guess. It was funny cause the girl I hit was like "thank god we both drive big cars or it could have been worse" lol. The cool thing is the body shop is only a half a mile from my house and I pass it everyday. I stopped on my way home from work and drove through the parking lot and she wasn't sitting out so I guess they took her in the shop and started on her. I can't wait to get her back because I have to drive my moms car...which is still a monte....but mine is better :rotfl: She has a 2000 SS with a dying transmission. It likes to think it's a manual and jerk around. Plus mine is leather with butt warmers, onstar, and tall that jazz and hers isn't. But it's still a monte so I like it

No offense to the owner of the Tarus but is it really worth fixing? It didn tlook like anything but cosmetic and its not like the Tarus is a huge deal, glad everyones ok

That's what I was thinking. The tarus also had other similar marks all over it. It was pretty banged up before I hit it.

Was tehre no insurance involved? It sounds like you are laying out 18 bills for the Ford yourself ... Pardon if this is a nosey question.

Hey there. Yes insurance was involved. I have no idea how much it cost to fix the ford. The estimate for my car alone was over $1,700.

Did you get your car back yet? Did they do a good job fixing her?

I still haven't gotten her back yet :( I am hoping I am getting her today. I drive by the body shop every day and this morning she was sitting outside and she looked done. So I am just waiting for a call. I will clean her all up and put pics up when I get her back.
