Ahhh, brings back memories...I remember my hood sat for a good month or so before I had time to get it on....lol.
I love my MPD hood, no issues with fitment at all.

Make sure you have your place drill/cut the plenum hole exactly how/where you want it...Can't wait to see it!

here is a quick update . Here was my weekend project for the Monte .I have been struggling how to connect my hood to my CAI so we cut a 4" in the new hood and a 4" hole in the CAI but where you have to put them foam was not going to work for me (well that is not true because it would have worked but there would have been only a 2 3/4" hole for air to go in to the CAI with a foam ring and I wanted more air flow than that ) So I went to NAPA and went exploring through there car parts I needed something that was 1 1/4" tall and 4" in diameter and soft enough to make a good seal between the hood and the air box and this is what I came up with. I think it came out good
I hope to have the hood done this Friday between work and hunting season I have been working on it just when I have time to.

Ya gotta hate the delay! I'm anxiously awaiting the unveiling of this project!!

When I got the hood for my Camaro, it was something like 3 weeks before it was painted (having my other car totalled out and searching for a replacement caused a delay).
